Coming up!

3) Sunday, July 8, from 2 PM to 4 PM -- Monthly filmmakers workshop

Our group normally meets on the first Sunday of each month, but due to schedule conflicts, will be held on the July 8th. Please join us for this monthly workshop open to both film co-op members and anyone who is interested in movie making techniques. This months topics will include:

1) Planning for the upcoming Rocket City Short Film Festival.

2) Status of the July workshop "MovieMakers: A Filmmaking Workshop for Kids" which begins on July 7.

3) Flying Monkey Arts TV - the Flying Monkey will coordinate this program with support from the Film Co-op. We'll be looking for content - your short films - to show on the City's Gov't Access TV channel as part of this special Flying Monkey activity.

4) Movie Genres and Plot - what's the difference. This will be a follow-op to last months discussion of Story Structure. How is structure different than Plot?

5) Bring short clips of any works in progress and we'll review and discuss those.

6) If you have any new equipment, software or learned any new techniques that you'd like to share with the group, please bring them along.

The meeting will be held in Don Tingle's space in the 2nd floor artists market area. Call if you have any questions: 837-4359.
